Fastest Steps To Earn 60pdus. (Part 1)

It could be stressful to receive an email from PMI® informing you that your certification renewal is in the next few days while realizing that you have just earned little or even worse, no PDUs since the day you passed the PMI® certification, three years has passed, in the blink of an eye. The key point here is to take a deep breath and don’t stress, there are still ways to earn 60PDUs in the shortest amount of time.

Step 1: PDU-balance checking.

By logging in your PMI® account, you could easily see how many PDU you have earned, how many you still need to earn as well as the remaining days until renewal. It is crucial to acquire all this information before moving on to the next step. Also, don’t go through the three sections of Technical, Leadership, and Strategic & Business carelessly. Taking notes of all these number for further reference.

Step 2: CCR handbook reading.

Remember to download and go through the CCR handbook carefully. It provides valuables information regarding all requirements around PDUs earning since the handbook covers Education PDUs versus Giving Back PDUs, the Talent Triangle® as well as minimum and maximum PDU requirements. As a PMP® credential holder, know how to earn those very critical PDUs is a great help.

Step 3: Create a 60PDU-earning plan.

Now that you know how many PDUs you need and which sections they are in, it’s a suitable time to create a plan that suits you and your needs.

Step 4: Document your PDU earning.

After finishing the CCR Handbook, you are recommended to keep good records and document all PDU earning activities. Simply writing this information down in the day notes or on an old daily planner notebook is the most common way. Also, you can plan a to-do list for yourself, tackling it one item at the time so you can cross it off after each PDU is finished. The next day, you can carry on the leftover.
