THE CAPM® EXAM CONTENT OUTLINE
The CAPM® exam contains 150 questions in total with 15 pre-test questions and 135 scored questions. You have 3 hours to complete the exam with no scheduled breaks as the exam clock will continue to count down during your breaks.
The exam questions are developed and validated by separate groups of project management practitioners and mainly based on the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition. The proportion from each chapter of the PMBOK® Guide is as follows:

The percentage refers to the number of questions related to each chapter in the test.
The CAPM® is aimed at the entry-level project managers, so the exam is not as rigorous as the PMP® exam. Besides, you don’t need to report PDUs for continuing education like PMP®. However, after 5 years, you need to retake the exam to maintain the credential.
